Initial Bracket Thoughts

The team that has the biggest gripe is Drexel. Most people would say Syracuse, but since the Dragons beat the Orange in Syracuse, you cant put them ahead of Drexel. And I see no logical reason how Stanford can get in ahead of Air Force. AFA is much better quantitively (#30 RPI vs. Stanford's #65) and they took Stanford to the shed at their gym when they face head to head.

As far as the seedings, the committee seemed to give a lot of love to the PAC-10 (Wash St., USC)and SEC (Tennessee, Vandy) teams, and not enough to the mid-majors like the MVC and MWC. I guess this isnt much of a surprise, but given what George Mason did, I was hoping theyd be more progressive in their thinking. Especially since SIU and UNLV were top-10 in the RPI, and Creighton and BYU were in the RPI top-20. And dont get me started about Niagara having to go in the play-in game.

Off-hand, the sleepers I see are VCU, Winthrop, Creighton, and the team that upsets Washington State.
